Reminders
The iPhone and Android apps remind your team at 08:00 and 17:00 to record the temperature checks, and stay quiet once a round is done.
What your team gets
Reminders come from the phone itself, on UK time. There is nothing to set up beyond allowing notifications when the phone asks.
In a new kitchen's first week, owners and managers also get a short nudge at 10:00 each morning, until a unit is added or a checklist has been run.
Good to know
- Reminder times are fixed for now and cannot be changed in settings.
- On Android, battery saving settings can hold a reminder back, so treat it as a prompt rather than a clock.
- If someone is not getting reminders, ask them to open the app once on their own phone and allow notifications when iOS or Android asks.
- The browser version does not send reminders.
- The reminders are for the temperature rounds. See Fridge temperatures.
